Couples Counseling

I work with couples in all stages of their relationships. From premarital counseling all the way to couples in the depths of dysfunction and despair, I love to help couples create and maintain healthy relationships. Most couples assume they only need counseling when in crisis, when in reality all couples can benefit from a third party helping them identify weaknesses and strengths in their communication skills, conflict resolution, forgiveness, and sexual intimacy. With specific techniques I help the couple uncover relational needs that have been developed and fostered since childhood. Understanding these needs allows the couple to develop a different level of compassion and intimacy, which creates a space of enduring growth.

Adolescent Counseling

Teens are experiencing an enormous amount of stress and pressure these days to become bigger and better than the person next to them. On top of raging hormones, teens are trying to find out who they are while navigating through stresses at school, peer pressure from their friends, and social media overload. I can help create a safe, non-judgmental environment, which allows teens the freedom to process their feelings and work through their problems. By teaming with the parents, counseling can have a profound impact on helping parents and teens relate to one another.
